Nevern Castle 12th century finds

Nevern Castle was built by the Norman invaders in 1106, and occupied alternately by the Normans and Welsh over the following 90 years; finally being burned down in 1196. Since then the site has been used only for agriculture. This makes it an archaeologist's dream: nearly every find belongs to the 12th century, with very little of the overlaying of successive periods found in other old castles.
These items were discovered in the digs 2008-2018 led by Dr Chris Caple of Durham University.
