Pembroke's Post War Development
Following WW2, Pembroke began to expand beyond its medieval footprint with the first social housing in Orange Gardens and large developments on the Green and in Monkton. Private estates followed. From the sixties onwards Pembroke was changing and, with the introduction of new industries, and influx of new residents.
