Bunbury, H.W. (1756-1811)

The earliest known prints of Welsh costume are those produced by H.W. Bunbury (1756-1811).
Bunbury was a regular visitor to the Williams-Wynne estate at Wynnstay, Denbighshire. He produced designs for tickets for the Wynnstay theatre in the 1780s with Bartolozzi.
There was more than one edition of some of the prints of Welsh costume including:
