Description
A pair of traditional stone and slate farm workers cottages in a rural location near Dinas Mawddwy. Though often the subject of somewhat idealised paintings in the Victorian years, simple dwellings like these were usually cold, damp, and smoke-filled, and those living in them led very hard lives.
