Description

The ancient foundation of Christ College, close by the River Usk at Brecon, c. 1865. In the medieval period Christ College was a Dominican friary and was probably founded around 1250. The medieval but restored chapel with its fine east window can be seen on the right, alongside the school house block and headmaster's house which was completed in 1864.
