Description

Leighton church, built for the local community in 1853 by John Naylor of Leighton Hall. Naylor was a wealthy banker and landowner who enthusiastically adopted the latest Victorian advances in mechanisation and agricultural methods on his estates. Print published in 1854 by R. Owen.
