Description

Some of the fashionable visitors who paraded in the Rock Park in Llandrindod Wells in the early 1900s, when the spa towns of mid-Wales still attracted substantial numbers. Light carriages pulled by ponies or donkeys, such as the one seen here, were used to convey elderly or disabled visitors on tours of the mineral water wells, the park, and around the boating lake.
