Description

A memorial to a lost little boy who died alone on the harsh terrain of the Brecon Beacons in 1900. Located on a ridge below Corn Du and Pen y Fan, the granite stone briefly records the tragic story of the child who wandered off at night in August 1900 and whose remains were not found for almost a month. The people of Brecon, many of whom helped in the long search, contributed to the cost of the stone.
