Description
A gathering of the Llandrindod Templars, photographed by prominent local photographer Thomas Roberts. These were members of a temperance society, a number of which were well supported around the end of the 19th century. Musical instruments are much in evidence here, and music, song and prayers all had important roles to play within such movements.
