Description

An appealing old picture postcard, like many such cards rather crudely hand-coloured, of a view along Broad Street in Welshpool as seen from the central junction called the Cross in the early 1900s. The traffic seems to be mostly handcarts, and the photographer has attracted a long line-up of men and boys right across the road. Presumably the women had better things to do.
