Description

My aunt and ubcle (Mr and Mrs Blackwell) moved to a small holding on the corner of Gwellyn Ave. and Holywell Crescent(Kinmel Bay), the idea being that a living could be made from growing the produce and selling it in a local shop. Among the produce were greens, tomatoes, eggs, apples, chickens etc.
The house, behind and above the shop had seven bedrooms and in the early years my mother and aunt did "full board" - breakfast, lunch and tea/dinner (45/50 meals a day)
