Description

Looking South to the right just up the hill was the site of The Gwalia Supply Company built in 1880, and run as a family business by the Llewellyn family. By 1916, the store included a grocery, bakery, men’s outfitters, ironmongery, pharmacy and animal feeds. The store closed in 1973 and was dismantled and relocated to the Museum of Welsh life at St. Fagan`s in 1988.
