Description

Only a part of this letter has survived. John Griffith Jones mentions that some of the rebels have been caught and he quotes their words 'no use try to run boys we'l surrender yankyes is got us'.

He asks his family if they have written to his Grandfather yet. He also says that he would like to see T. E. Hughes returning.
