Description

Newspaper clipping of an article published in the Jewish Chronicle, on a Portsmouth based Jewish congregation's 250th anniversary. Written by Lee Levitt, the article also includes a photograph of Chief Rabbi Dr Jonathan Sacks with Rev Anthony Dee and Dev Israel Cohen. In 1749, the Portsmouth and Southsea Hebrew Congregation was founded and is one of the oldest Jewish congregations in England.
