Description
A newspaper clipping from a South Wales Echo publication about a musical event hosted by the amateur theatre company Stagestruck. “Best of Another Round of Applause” was a musical event showcasing songs from West End musicals. The event took place to raise money for St John Ambulance and The Stroke Association. It was held on 21 March 1998 at St David's Hall in Cardiff. Photographs show some of the acts that appeared in the show such as Katie Ekstrom, Emma Pascoe, Stewart Ekstrom-Gabb, Lorraine Marks, Emma Jones, Louise Hall and Zoe Davis. The Lord Mayor of Cardiff, Max Phillips is also pictured. Stagestruck was formed in 1986 to raise money for charities by performing variety shows produced by Jane Manuel.
