A very interesting photograph taken from the grounds of Kington House, during the relatively short period c.1970 after the cottages No. 10 'Rose Cottage' (centre), and nos. 2, 4, 6, and 8 (partially visible on the right) had their thatched roofs replaced by tiles, and the derelict remaining cottage no. 12 'Jordans Cottage' (left centre) was demolished. I lived in no. 10 at the time.
