Description

Aerial photograph of Whitland Creamery. The photograph shows the view from the South West. The creamery was established in 1914 and grew to become the largest manufacturing creamery in Britain, covering an area of nearly eight hectares. It closed in November 1994 and the site has been cleared for redevelopment.

I believe the creamery shut in 1994 not 1944, probably a typing error.
