A Tara Survivor.

G. TATAM JONES, Portmadoc.
Son of Mr H. Jones Holyhead, formerly of the Custom House, Portmadoc. Mr Tatam Jones was one of the crew of the auxiliary boarding ship "Tara" when she was torpedoed last November by a German submarine off the coast of Sollum. The crew were taken prisoners by the Senussi Arabs and treated with barbaric cruelty from which several died. The crew were eventually rescued by the Duke of Westminister's force in armoured cars and are now in England. Quarter
