GERMAN SKIPPER GOES

Following the action of the officers and crew of a ship at Newport (Mon) in refusing to proceed to sea under a captain of alleged German origin, the officials of the Seamen's Union insisted on the captain relinquishing his position and a Britisher being appointed in his place. This has now been done, and the crew have returned to the ship.
