Description

Richard Thomas and Baldwins Limited tie pin given to employees for twenty-five years service. This one was awarded to Richard Ernest Morris in 1963 who was working at Llanwern Steelworks at the time. The design represents a steel ingot being passed through a set of rollers. Manufactured by Fattorini & Sons Ltd, it has the anchor mark for Birmingham and the date letter O for 1963-1964. The steel industry was nationalised in 1967 to become the British Steel Corporation.
