Description

Robert & Winifred Jones with their son Ifan in 1912. They went from Carrog to Winnipeg, Canada to farm and remained there for 2 1/2 years. Robert Jones didn't enjoy good healthin Canada so they returned to Carrog where her grandfather worked in a slate mine. The family intended to return on the Empress of Ireland, but fortunately missed the boat -which sank.
