Description

Ifan William Jones and Edith Mair Salisbury (neé Davies 1912), with Buddug Medi as a child. Her father used to be a cobbler but sold his stock when he went to war. She set up a shoe shop in a shed by their home in Carrog and later bought a shoe shop in Y Bala in 1945 while her father was in Germany. There were only 3 pairs of shoes in the shop when they bought it, but when they moved to Bala there was a lorryload of shoes.
