Description
Scientific Name:Craterellus cornucopioides
Fungi facts:The alternate name for this fungus is Trumpet of Death because of its sombre appearance. Although edible it is thick skinned and are best dried first and then made into a sauce. It is found in deciduous woods on heavy soil. The fruit bodies are easily overlooked because they are black.
