Description

Velociraptor (meaning 'swift thief') lived 75 to 71 million years ago, during the later part of the Cretaceous period and became extinct before the Cretaceous-Tertiary mass Extinction.

This claw is included for contrast with the Tyrannosaurus claw. Velociraptor became famous after its role in the Jurassic Park films. However, the films depict it as much larger than it was in reality and without feathers.
