LIST OF LOSSES.

The following are the latest vessels sunk (or reported sunk) by the enemy:—

Margarita (steamer)… British.

Ireland (trawler) … British.

Ashwold (trawler)… British.

Longscar (steamer)… British.

Mary Bell (trawler)… British.

Percy Roy (sailing vessel)… British.

Greenland (steamer)… British.

The Longscar (2,777 gross tons) was built at West Hartlepool in 1903. She was owned by Mr Thomas William Willis, West Hartlepool.

The Mary Bell (114 gross tons) was 100ft. in length and was built at Aberdeen in 1808. She was owned by William Brown, of Granton Harbour.

ANOTHER MASTER TAKEN PRISONER.

Lloyd’s report that the steamer Greenland was sunk by a German submarine on Wednesday evening. The crew were landed yesterday morning.

Eight of the crew of the trawler Mary Bell, before reported sunk, have been landed. The master was taken prisoner.

BRITISH CREW PICKED UP.

Madrid, Wednesday.

Six seamen of the British sailing vessel Percy Roy, which has been torpedoed, have been landed at a Spanish port. They were picked up by the steamer Cindad.
