OVERDUE GLASGOW VESSEL.

Lloyd's report that the steamer Glenfruin, of Glasgow (3097 tons gross), which is reported to have sailed from Gibraltar for Ardrossan on January 20, and was last seen in the Bay of Biscay on January 26, is considered very much overdue.

The Registrar-General reports that the annual rate of mortality in 96 great towns of England and Wales last week averaged 16.7.
