Description

A video, converted from 8mm cine film.

Recorded in 1968 by Ron Williams, a retired Police Sergeant with the North Wales Police. At the time, Ron was attending a police Advanced driving course at the Glamorgan Constabulary Driving School, Police Headquarters, Bridgend.

It shows the police officers out on the road under instruction during the course, and a break period during the day at what appears to be Saundersfoot.
There is also footage of the police 'skid pan' which was located for many years at the Driving School. That facility was removed and the site re-built on.
