Description
The playing of sport on a Sunday was a contentious subject throughout the twentieth century, with the argument reaching back as far as the 19th century. This letter states the authors objection to the transformation of the courtyard of the church at Llandaff into a Fives court, with individuals playing against the church wall during services.
