An interesting photograph but one which raises more questions than supplying answers, The item on the wagon is not a train part, but if the location is Cowbridge may be on its way to or from the cement works or lime works at Aberthaw. The wagon is also a curiosity as it appears to be unsprung and rather crude for general railway use even by the standards of 1900, unfortunately the view gives no details of the buffers or coupling arrangements. Similarly the small section of building visible on the right does not resemble any railway structures at Cowbridge.
