Description

Julia Gunn was busy researching her husband Ray's family history and came across an autograph book which belonged to Catherine Chapman, Ray's aunt. During the war she was in the Royal Air Force and was a barrage balloon operator. One night a bomb landed in a cemetery next to her position and showered her with the bones. Unfortunately, she contracted a disease from them and had to take medication for the rest of her life. However Aunt Cath lived to a ripe old age of 92yrs and we all thought the world of her.
