An interesting view of the sidings at Barry Dock but I suggest that this copy is printed in reverse, I think the location is the west end of the mole in No. 1 Dock, looking roughly eastward. The footbridge across the photograph ran from the north side of Barry Goods Yard to Clive Road on Barry Island, but after careful examination of the appropriate map the curvature of the sidings is always the opposite to that shown. Further there are no train engines visible but only some tank wagons on the left although they appear to be of unusual design.

A correction to my previous comment, the location is the south side of No. 1 Dock not the mole at that end of the dock. The photograph is definitely printed in reverse, a further indication of the location is the 50 ton Hydraulic Crane which can be seen at the end of the lower level empty wagon roads.
