Description

Dimlands House was built by Rev Robert Nicholl Carne c1800. His son improved the house and had this lodge built in 1853, possibly to designs of the architect Matthew digby Wyatt. Wyatt lived at Dimlands briefly as did a branch of the Crawshay family. Post war attempts to find it a use failed and it was demolished

My Father in-law Edward R Faultless lived here until around 2006... We have many memories of fabulous Traditional Christmas's past in this house. Not to mention the Glorious Garden and lovely views to be had from it's windows.
