Description

The agreement was signed on 25 March 1863 by Love Jones-Parry (1832-91), Lewis Jones (1836-1904) and Dr Guillermo Rawson (1821-90), Argentine Minister for Home Affairs. In the agreement Rawson offers a piece of land to the settlers on condition that Patagonia is recognised as an Argentine province once the population reaches 20,000.
