Description

Kevin Hawke is a keen diver and Living Seas Wales volunteer. This image is taken from his dive log and records a dive at Hen and Chicks, Little Haven on the 15th September 1996. During the dive he observed a variety of marine wildlife which he describes in the "Dive Details" section of the log book (transcribed below).
Dive details: Descended the rock face of the Hen, adjusted weight belt and B.C.D. at the bottom. Dived as a three Delyth leading Bill and myself either side. Delyth took us straight to a hole in the rock to show us a trigger fish. Lots of Devonshire cup corals, Plumrose anemone, Dahlia anemone (sargartia elegans?) in a range of colours and a nudi bank. Delyth also pulled a bootlace worm from under a rock and showed how it stretched and returned to its shape like a rubber band. Relaxed, confident and good control of buoyancy.
