Description

Kevin Hawke is a keen diver and Living Seas Wales volunteer. This image is taken from his dive log and records a dive near the Hen and Chicks, Little Haven 17th July 1999. During the dive he observed a variety of marine wildlife which he describes in the "Dive Details" section of the log book (transcribed below).
Dive Details: Descended the anchor line onto sandy bottom, short swim into the rocks followed the rocks around to the reef, current surging quite a bit. Loads of life about large edible Crabs, Conger Eel, all the Anemones out and open feeding in the current loads of brilliant colours, also a Painted Topshell in amongst the weed. Came back over the top of the reef but it was hard work against the current. So sent up the S.M.B. Really enjoyable dive loads of colourful stuff to see.
