Description

Linocut print by Paul Peter Piech of Harri Webb.

Harri Webb was an Anglo-Welsh poet, republican and nationalist, who was a member of the Welsh Republican Movement, the Labor Party and Plaid Cymru. He saw no difference between the role of politics and literature, and although he wrote mainly in English his Welsh poem, ‘Colli Iaith', first sung by Heather Jones, has become a Welsh classic.
