Description

This picture is of one of the many fulling mills in the Aran Valley in Dolgellau. This is typical of the picturesque paintings done by travellers to Wales in later 1700s when the Grand Tour of Europe was not possible. Community Research Volunteers joined the group in Dolgellau to explore the valley.
