Description

Photographs taken by my father, W E Bowen and Jim Gittings during the last production run at the Brithish Aluminium Works at Rheola in the Neath Valley before the factory closed. British Aluminium opened the factory as a strip mill in 1939 and at it`s height employed 1500 people; when it closed in 1981 there where 590 people employed there.
