Description

George Lamb writes to Michael D. Jones to request further details about the post of 'governess' at the Welsh Settlement, as he has received numerous enquiries about it. He advises Michael D. Jones not to send the trap or any other goods for the steamer to Porth Madryn. The dock labourers are on strike and tons of goods have been left at the docks where they are 'getting spoilt and knocked about'.
