Description
As stated on the postcard “Somme – 18 – Mers-les- Bains , le casino”. Postcard sent by Harry White of the 2nd Battalion of the Welch Regiment to his sister Lucy Jenkins (née White) at Llangunnor Vicarage, Carmarthen. He wrote “Have not received your Xmas letters yet. The Casino is now a French Hospital…a pity they don’t carry the Entente Cordiale further”.
