Description

This teddy bear was found, probably in early 1916, in the trenches of Gallipoli by Sgt. Bean of the South Wales Borderers as the Regiment evacuated following the failed attempt to take control of the Dardanelles Straights. It is not known to whom it belonged, but it may have been as a good luck token.
