Description

A newspaper article from The Cambria Daily Leader, published on 24/07/1914, describing the capture of a porpoise (from description, mainly the size, we would suggest the cetacean may instead be a dolphin) in the Neath river.

The clipping reads as follows: "On Thursday evening a round-headed porpoise was caught in the Neath river near the Britonferry Ironworks. Its length measured 9 feet 5 inches, and it was alive when brough to the bank of the river."
