Description

A photograph showing a group of Cardiff City Police officers taken on the steps of the Law Courts, Cathays Park, Cardiff.

Some of the officers are wearing Fire Brigade tunics and some police tunics. For many decades, the fire brigade and police were one organisation.

The Divisional letters on the collars are 'D' which signified the 'D or Administration Division.

Date of photograph is not known but would appear to be between the two world wars......possibly the 1930's.
