Description
A newspaper article from the Carnarvon and Denbigh Herald and North and South Wales Independent, published on 17/04/1880, describing the the stranding and capture of a porpoise at Llanfairfechan.
The clipping reads as follows: "A porpoise, four feet long, came ashore on Wednesday, at Llanfairfechan, in the nets of Mr Hughes. A commissioner from Birmingham Aquarium was soon on the spot, but the porpoise died before his arrival."
