Description

The 'Minecraft Your Museum' Competition invited 6-11 year old learners to use their imaginations to build their dream museum in Minecraft. This competition was launched by Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales during the COVID-19 lockdown period 2020, to encourage creativity and digital skills while pupils were learning at home.

This entry by Theo Harrison, Thomas Sommer & William Howard-Rees from Raglan CIW VC Primary School won third prize in the 'Group Entry' category. Congratulations Theo, Thomas and William!

Museum description: The whole build has been planned and constructed by Theo Harrison, Thomas Sommer and William Howard-Rees (they are all in Year 5) from Raglan CIW VC Primary School. They have been meeting (virtually) every afternoon since the competition was announced. They have spent time researching your different venues, finding out about the past for themselves and thinking ‘big’ about what they would like to experience at a museum.
