Today's pictures were taken near Taff's Well, within two miles of the northern outskirts of the city of Cardiff.

Looking eastwards across the valley towards Castell Coch.

Image 2:

Looking northwards, up the valley of the River Taff.

Image 3:

Gwaelod-y-Garth Hotel The scene above (Image 3), and those below (Image 4, 5) were taken in Gwaelod-y-Garth, one of the tiny hamlets on the east-facing slopes of Taff Vale.

Image 6:

The spring flowers give this scene a Mediterranean look.
