The parish church is dedicated to St Tydfil, after whom the town is named.

Presbyterian Church of Wales (Image 2) and St David's Parish Church (Image 3).

Image 4:

Merthyr Tydfil, nestling in the valley of the river Taff. The picture was taken from the hillside further up the valley.
