Description

The scenes below were shot inside the Harp Inn at lunchtime on Thursday, April 23rd, 1998.

Image 1:

To the left of the main entrance is the cosy lounge with its open fireplace.

Image 2:

Another view of the lounge, here featuring some ancient wooden settles (benches).

Image 3:

On the day I visited, a welcoming wood fire was burning in the bar area.

Image 4:

General view of the bar area.

Image 5:

Genial host Erfyl Protheroe serves at the bar.

Image 6:

Some of the customers enjoying their lunch in the bar, and quenching their thirst with pints of real ale.

Image 7:

Meals can also be eaten in one of the two dining areas.

Image 8:

The second (non-smoking) dining area.

Many thanks to Erfyl Protheroe and Heather Price for allowing me to take these photographs.
