A selection of pubs, inns and taverns in South Wales. The names of the pubs are as fascinating as the character of the buildings.

The Boot and Shoe is near the entrance to Kidwelly Castle in Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire. Builth Wells Rugby Club is in Market Street, Builth Wells, Breconshire. Strictly, the rugby club is not a public house, but many rugby football clubs in Wales own licensed premises.
