Description

Probably the earliest view of the village to appear on a postcard this appears to have been taken about 1912. The two most popular viewpoints were from a barn on the Cefn road known as ‘Sgybor Isaf , and from the main road, still called the ‘Tyrpeg’ within living memory. The shanty buildings on the hillside are for pigs and hens. From the collection of Gwyndaf Breese.
